My clock stared at me menacingly at it showed "6a.m.". Uh oh, I was so late! So when I got to school, yeah, did my duties and all. Due to some sort of briefing for a survey, Chinese period was gone. Lessons began and I was half way asleep...
*Great big yawn*
Yeahh, during recess, played volleyball with the peeps and then Mr Tong's lessons started. He told us about the admission to Dunman High. I was like, I want to go there! But, what saddening was, he said that he would laugh at anyone who wanted to go there. It was so bad of him to make us feel ashamed! Okay, maybe not so bad. But, the miracle came true when he asked Wisely and I if WE were interested. Without further thinking, I shouted, "ME!" So, he wrote down my name.
All right then, lessons resumed. Of course, it was a not-to-be-missed "Disturbing TONG XUE time". When Mr Tong was saying something about retards, Zuwei stood down, banged his table, yelled at Mr Tong, and said," MR TONG I AIN'T A RETARD!" What the heck? Okay, Mr Tong was red today right? HIS FACE WAS REDDER THAN HIS SHIRT!
Sigh, the-never-ending-whole-lots-of-crap. Well, he went to Volume with us, and we did our worksheet. And, when I finished (first one), Mr Tong told me to give out a whole stack of worksheets? I was like, are you mad? This whole load of...weights? Haha, I am a little sacastic. It was not as heavy as I described. So I gave out the whole thing till the cows came home.
After class, I followed Ah Goong and Shifu Yeo to the sports hall to, yeah, play volleyball. About...1 hour? I don't know. So, I bought Matt to buy bubble tea, Twisties and I went to see JJ Lin's new album! It was in 2 different designs, but I like the one JJ featured in his own blog! I checked the price..."$17.95.." Oh man! Should have brought my money! Sickening.
So I went home, I asked my mum if I could go Dunman High. Then she scolded me like crazy for god's sake! Say, " Dunman High you know how far or not? Even if there accept you, I will still say NO!" I was so heartbrokened! I could not go to my top two dream schools, how do you think I feel? Okay, in case you are wondering, these are the 6 schools of my choice...
1. Nanyang Girls. OUT! ( so mad!)
2. Dunman High. OUT! (even mad!)
3. Cedar Girls.
4. Anderson.
5. Cresent Girls
6. St. Margrets.
See? For most parents, they would force their children to study hard and go to a good school. Me? Study hard and go to a normal type of school. I kept crying for god's sake! Even when Gladys called me, I was still crying! Then I sms-ed Mr Tong, saying that I was sorry. I felt like I was hit by a bombshell! I have let my teachers who expected high hopes on me down, my parents, and worst of all, MYSELF. Until now, I still feel like getting advice from Mr Tong. Sigh, I just cannot bring myself to the fact that my mother is like that. Oh well, I guess I shall stop here, before my house will be filled with my tears....
